SYMPHONY™ DATA ACQUISITION TECHNOLOGY is unique within the industry, combining time and multimedia data within an extremely efficient, high performance stream management architecture. Internally, SYMPHONY™ is fully media independant with acquisition components providing specialist interfaces to many different types of multi-media devices. Data is converted to SYMPHONY™ format and streamed in real-time to the Instant Recall components - part of the Information Lifecycle Management subsystem.

TELEPHONY RECORDING is accomplished using AudioNet™. For TDM environments, AudioNet™ uses industry-standard voice processing hardware and can be configured with any combination of interface types within a single chassis. In IP Telephony environemnts, the Ethernet Stream Processor (ESP) component is used. Depending on system configuration, this component can run on the same chassis as the TDM line interfaces or on a separate chassis in larger configurations. The number of channels supported by a single chassis varies depending on the interface type and the specific hardware platform chosen. Multiple chassis can be combined where very large numbers of channels are required. SYMPHONY™ is able to present a unified view to users for systems containing many thousands of inputs. Interface support is available for analogue exchange lines and extensions, primary and basic rate ISDN and a wide range of digital PBX extensions and IP Telephone systems.

SCREEN RECORDING support is provided using the Reflection™ agent and server component of SYMPHONY™. Screen recording can be tied into telephone activity so that recording only occurs during a phone call. Reflection™ presents the same control interface as all other data acquisition components which means that it can be integrated with our range of CTI connectors. Reflection™ also allows the recording of workstations with multiple screens.

CCTV RECORDING employes the InVision™ server component. Advanced image processing features allow sophisticated control of the recording process including multi-zone motion detection, external trigger and integration with other SYMPHONY™ components. InVision™ includes support for installations with a mixture of IP and analogue CCTV cameras.



AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL RECORDING uses specialised high performance data capture components to record radar and telemetery data together with high bandwidth audio. A sophisticated tool kit is available which allows integrators to add the power of SYMPHONY™ to their products.
